What type of place is The Lowman Loft?

The Lowman Loft is a dreamy boutique style rental space located in the heart of Louisburg, KS.

Our property is a newly renovated 3,000 sq. ft. space; with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this loft can sleep 10-15 guests comfortably. It features an open concept living room, family style dining room, billiard room, and coffee lounge. The kitchen offers full sized appliances, granite countertops, and a large center island. The Loft also has an amazing balcony, with a mini bar, where you will get stunning views overlooking beautiful downtown Louisburg.

The Lowman Loft is an independent hospitality experience. We do not have a front desk, and our suite is self check-in. However, we are always available by text or phone if you have any questions or concerns during your stay.

What time is check-in? Can I come early?

Check In time is at 3 PM.

To ensure ample time cleaning and preparation, please do not arrive prior to 3 PM without advanced notice. If you would like to make arrangements for an early check-in, please reach out to us- we are typically able to accommodate this request!

What time is check-out? Can I leave later?

Check Out time is at 11 AM.

To allow us time to prepare the space for our next guest, check out must be at or before 11 AM. If you need to make arrangements for a later check-out time, please reach out to us directly.

How many/what kind of beds do you offer?

The Loft provides 3 king sized beds, 2 twin beds, and 2 full sized beds (bunk beds). We also have an air mattress available, along with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for your convenience.

Are pets allowed at The Loft?

We know that pets are a part of the family, which is why we offer a pet friendly space! Renters will be charged a $150 pet fee at the time of booking. For the safety of you and your pet, we ask that you follow our pet rules during your stay:

Only small pets are allowed at The Loft.
Keep pets leashed at all times while outside the property.
Clean up all pet waste immediately.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture. If you absolutely cannot keep them off, please cover any furniture thoroughly.
Do not allow pets to bark incessantly or cause disturbances.
By bringing a pet, you agree that you will pay for any and all damages caused by pets to furniture or furnishings at the property.

Miami County Trolley: The Miami County Trolley will take you and your group to all four wineries in Miami County, Kansas. Tours usually begin approximately at 11:00 a.m. and end around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. They can accommodate groups of at least 10 people on other days of the week as well.

The Trolley will pick up and drop off your group directly from The Lowman Loft!

Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery: Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned Kansas City winery located in the rolling hills of Miami County, KS, approximately 20 miles south of the greater KC area. They take pride in making handcrafted, premium wines from Kansas grown grapes.

Louisburg Cider Mill: A regional destination that offers customers a unique opportunity not only to taste great apple cider and apple cider donuts, but to see where and how the cider and donuts are made.

Cedar Cove Feline Conservatory & Education Center: a non-profit sanctuary and educational center committed to the care and preservation of endangered predator species while educating the public on the importance of conserving their natural ecosystems, and the impending dangers of their extinction. Cedar Cove is open year-round with public tours available every Saturday and Sunday, and Private and School tours available during the week.

Can I rent the Loft for a day event?

We do not rent for private events at this time. There is a minimum stay of two nights. This allows for cleaning time and avoids overlapping bookings for our guests.

What is the parking/accessibility like?

We offer a private parking lot for our guests, conveniently located next to the loft entrance. Security cameras are positioned to monitor the exterior, with views of the entry doors and parking areas to help protect your vehicle and ensure no unauthorized access during your stay.

The loft has a separate, secure side entrance. Please note that access is currently only available via a staircase, so the unit is not wheelchair accessible at this time — but we are actively working on a solution.

For guests traveling with an RV, we also offer parking and hookups along the side of the building for an additional fee.
